Villain 25/.48/.48. Not too out of line as far as hands shown down but as you can see, very passive. Post flop I put him on a weak ace.

I think I should have bet the turn and either folded to raise, since he didn't seem too tricky a player, or if called, check/fold river putting him on 3 Ks.

As played, I think I should have definitely folded river bet.

When you checked the turn, you told Villain that you weren't confident with your hand.

His bet on the river could mean anything given that you've shown weakness throughout the hand.

Given that Villain in not aggressive, you're probably correct in folding. Just keep in mind that you're doing so getting better than 2:1 odds on the river. Against most opponents, you're giving up too much by folding the river here.
