Villain is 45/2/.91. Calls w/ any ace and will continue post-flop with nothing. Seen him bluff raise river w/ air.

I never know whether to push all-in in these nut flush draw situations, either on flop or turn or keep semi-bluffing repping a huge pair.

Make it 1.50 preflop

checking behind on the turn might be better considering you have little fold equity on a board like this.

imo shoving this river against this villian with this board is a spew.

PF is too small. Flop is OK. Turn and river are spew.

Not betting this flop is burning money.

I agree. Flop bet is standard w/ 15 outs. I put him on a medium pair. Should have check/called turn. River shove was a train wreck

Easiest turn check ever, and maybe you see showdown for free. That seems far preferable to what happened here.

But the question you asked: I went nuts when I figured out the pushing-with-15-outs trick. (Still love it.) I think up until that point I didn't exactly understand FE. I did notice that I was doing it OOP, picking up small pots, and getting called by sets, so now I try to pick spots. That first week, though? You couldn't stop me.

You did what you could on this flop - if you aren't going to overbet flop (and I don't think anyone thinks you should) you got the maximum money in when you still had a good feeling. You're hoping you get raised there and THEN you can go to town with the 15-out-all-in. You're also hoping, if you're not raised, for a cooperative turn card (not necessarily your draw, but a blank would be nice), and this is not a blank. So I start with the same game plan as you (probably calling down / drawing to that diamond despite the paited board / missing and "value calling" a crappy river bet with A high - seriously, I'm that bad) but maybe I shut down once that turn comes. I don't know.
