Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 4 Players - (LegoPoker (http://www.legopoker.com) Hand History Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh))

SB: $50.40
Hero (BB): $81.30
UTG: $74.80
BTN: $201.25

Reads: Villain is running 35/25/3 over 200 hands. Seems all right. Pretty aggro preflop. A little loose and spewy sometimes.

He steals virtually 50% of the blinds, but I never tangled with him mainly because I was concentrating on a huge fish to my right and because he in EP when I am in the blinds and vice versus. The other reason was I thought he was a whale, and it took me about a hundred hands to realize he was better than he was trying to portray. So I never 3bet him at this table before, he maybe did it once.

Preflop: Hero is dealt J/images/graemlins/club.gif 8/images/graemlins/club.gif (4 Players)
UTG calls $0.50, BTN raises to $2.25, SB folds, Hero raises to $7.50, UTG folds, BTN calls $5.25

Flop: ($15.75) 6/images/graemlins/club.gif 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif 2/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

He is probably going to call or raise me here with a wide range, so I went for a c/r instead.

Turn: ($15.75) T/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 Players)
Hero bets $11.00, BTN raises to $28.00, Hero calls $17.00

So I lead turn hoping to take the pot now or spike something on the river. The raise is totally unexpected, but it fills in 89 and I believe I have some implied odds on the river. My odds here are about 23.5% and I believe I have 11 clean outs, maybe even a jack if he hit TP or something. So this call seems EV+ even without counting for implied odds. Who likes a push here?

River: ($71.75) K/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

Here I just give up.

How come you didn't lead into him on the flop? If he's 3-betting light, you might have up to 15 outs there...
