Preflop call is definitly my bad. Moving on:

Stats:
MP runs at 17/12/2.6
BTN runs at 15/11/2.8
No Reads.
I'm sandwhiched between two TAGS, when MP cbets into two opponents I weigh his range heavily to AK,KQ,AA,44. I'm pretty sure I'm behind and stoving his range puts me as a dog. Is raising still the best line here?

I'm so mush right now. Yeah but revising the range doesn't change much:

Me likes a 3 bet PF sometimes, Id probably do it occusionally here

On to the hand, play it like you have 44 IMO. RAise it up and call a shoveizzle, as you will be commited. Just make sure you raise enough that you can call his shove.

Can you explain the logic behind[ QUOTE ]
Just make sure you raise enough that you can call his shove.

[/ QUOTE ]?

I see that from time to time and it has never made sense to me. Couldn't this be just as easily be phrased make sure you commit yourself so you can't get away? What's the advantage vs. a shove?

Edit: for the hand in question I think a big raise/shove vs call are about the same. I wouldn't fold though.
