Villain is a pretty TAGGY 16/14/2. Against a Laggy player river is an easy value raise for me. Against this tight of a player is calling my only option? Whose raising and what worse hands call? Is anyone folding?

i call the river too. if he has a flush or flopped it, ok, but the way this played out i doubt it.

As another poster said, c-bet the flop (especially against this tight a player.) He may fold. Also, if he has two hearts you just let him draw for free to his flush.

As played I just call the river.

Call. You are definitely too strong to be folding this. Raising is no good though because you only get called be better hands.

Wouldn't a tight player be less likely to fold this flop?

He will call very often with PP's, overcards he will fold. But he will have to give up often, if an overcard shows up on the turn/river and you it them properly. I think villain has a low set here. Results please?

You haven't given Villain any indication that you have a hand. Easy call.

BTW, why no c-bet?

is his range strictly sets/straight here? will he ever show up with AK or something like that?

I'd think you'd see a busted flush draw with or without a pair many times here.

Villain has K/images/graemlins/heart.gifJ/images/graemlins/heart.gif and MHING

Is cbetting this flop really standard? I may be giving up too easily on these low flops. If villain was looser you'd be less likely to cbet this flop?

I don't think folding is really an option despite the results. I just wasn't sure of my line.

cbetting is automatic for me on a low flop:

"Sure the flop missed me, but the flop missed you, too. My hand was better than yours before this flop didn't change anything, and I still have position on you. Go ahead and call."

What about min raising the turn for a free showdown? If we get raised, we know were beat.
