This is an easy fold. Don't draw against the odds!

Has he checkraised your contbets before?

Villain is unknown and hasn't been playing back before in any way so I am thinking it's either a set or an overpair

I'd probably call and fold to a reasonably sized turnbet if I miss, but this might be a leak.

Why fold?? PotOdds are 2,7:1 and we have a chance of 2,7:1 (at worst) to improve (is my math wrong).
Plus we have implied odds cause we might stack villain if we improve and he can't laydown a set. Def call and see a turn imo.

a 7 or a 9 improve your hand, but they are not good against villians flop raise ... hero is drawing for a 5 or a T here

I'd consider that Implied odds are probably good, a 826-5 or 826-T board doesn't look very straighty to me against a preflop raiser.

Am I the only one who thinks that this is an easy call?
We don't even need the implied odds, we can call this for the money which is already in the pot and get correct odds against his range. With the implied odds and since we have position this call is even more easy.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Would like to here some more thoughts on this.

Do you have any stats on Vilain ? He could be here with TT, 99, even JJ/QQ or some kind of A8 if is loose fishy. If it's not a straight nit , I guess I push all in reprensenting AA/KK ..... If he has a set ... well ... We have some outs !

Very good fold equity here IMO !

As I stated in my previous post, villain is unknown.
I like pushing as well here, I doubt it's too big of a mistake.
And if villain folds then your c-bets are less likely to get played back at for a while.

With a good read on villain i like a push here as well. Without I prefer to call as we get good odds/implied odds. Folding here is weak imo.

never fold, call or push depending on your opponent
I like pushing vs total unknown

Call flop and fold to decent turn bet imo.

Why is pushing better against an unknown ? random nl25 player doesn't play back on flops that light
