No reads. My usual line is check/fold.

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 3 Players - (LegoPoker (http://www.legopoker.com) Hand History Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh))

SB: $96.62
Hero (BB): $66.70
BTN: $20.32

Preflop: Hero is dealt Q/images/graemlins/club.gif A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 Players)
BTN raises to $2.00, SB folds, Hero raises to $7.00, BTN calls $5.00

Flop: ($14.25) T/images/graemlins/spade.gif 6/images/graemlins/club.gif 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 Players)
Just put him all-in or fold?

if you are going to 3-bet him, I think you have to push him all in on the flop.

If you're usually c/fing this flop why are you 3-betting out of position in the first place? If you are trying to just pick it up PF, I would probably bet $6 and save yourself a jr. bacon cheeseburger /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Is he really folding anything on this flop?

Being a shorty I think hes 4-betting all in with TT+, AK in this spot. If he has a 99-22, AT, gg him. Otherwise I think you are picking this up on the flop or getting his monies.

I like "mini stack"... Open fold for metagame /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

ps I am folding though. His cold call is very strong.

corsakh,

you need a read before you bet here (as impossible as it is to get one on a small stack)?

Sorry to beat a dead horse i just really don't know what is the correct line here.

Betting here is plain stupid, you don't even fold AK. Question is if you call his bet. I probably would not.

corsakh - if villain does not like AK enough to push preflop, why is he going to like it enough to call post? What range are you putting him on after the PF call?

His cold call rather says he likes his hand than he does not. If he did not, he would try to push hero off his hand preflop pushing all in. But he called.

This may be because he has a strong hand and now trapping hero wanting him to cbet a flop this way committing himself.

Of this may be because he is some tight weaky with JJ who wants to see no A no K flop before committing.

On this flop he will talk himself into calling with any pair any draw and often overcards because of the odds he is getting. But I would not put him on overcards much, since he would probably push them preflop. He is much more likely to have some pair here.

Why would you ever think about folding here?

A check would look suspicious. Just push and hope he puts you on AK.

You only need to be good around 1/3 of the time. I would be surprised if you had <50% equity against his range.
