Am I correct to think the stud would clear bonuses faster, since it is ante instead of blinds we are dealt into every hand?

I would think they would consider that equal to posting the blinds which doesnt count as voluntarily contributing to the pot

Yes, but at most sites there is no mention of "voluntarily" contributing...the blinds are enough. I'm not sure how they treat antes.

OP, it really depends on the site. First of all, many sites use dealt hands for bonuses, so it wouldn't matter. Most contributed bonuses count the blinds, but as RedRocket mentioned, some do not. You really need to check with the site(s) to find out; or perhaps someone here might be able to help if you asked about specific sites.

Its far more difficult to multi table stud than holdem. In the glory days of Party, all you had to do was be in a pot that collected a nickel of rake.

As BF stated; it depends on the site whether it counts as contributed or not.

Absolute: NO (of course)
OnGame: YES
