Some things about this hand really confuse me, I was thinking at the time that he would surely only do this with AA, then I convinced myself that this was too weak tight so I called thinking it probably costs me a few dollars but what the hey.

Villian was 27/17 over 140 hands.

So the question is, should I be folding this or not?

Button ($59.85)
SB ($69.50)
BB ($48.60)
Hero ($68.40)
MP ($40.40)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.5</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $4</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $11</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $59.85</font>, Hero calls $48.85.

Thanks for looking.

No. For less than 150BB, folding KK preflop to a 27/17 would be a mistake. NH.

call, then stack of to AA and reload ;(

200bb deep I fold this.

Agreed, you're not deep enough to fold, although I would definitely muck QQ in this spot.

Okay thanks for the replys, I haven't played much of this yet, so am learning as I go, its just that so far I haven't folded KK in this spot and I've been shown aces 4 times out of 4. However I have seen opponents going in with AK or worse and calling off with worse than AK too, so I reckon maybe you guys are right and I've been unlucky or just against the wrong guys.

Thanks Mack

Assuming he does this with KK+ , AKs, and only two combos of QQ then you have enough equity.

equity win tie
Hand 0: 58.729% 54.14% 04.59% { KK+, QcQh, QcQs, AKs }
Hand 1: 41.271% 36.68% 04.59% { KhKs }

Just a progress report, I have now called all ins with KK 15 times and have been shown AA 13 times, AK once and QQ once, maybe I'm runing bad or something, but I think maybe I stop calling the 3/4 bet from reasonable players when I have KK, unless I can flop for set value. On the plus side I have won 3 times when dominated and the two where I was ahead held up. I also won plenty enough to move up in hands where the money did not go in preflop, so I'm gonna give 100NL my attention for the next month or so and see how that works out. I only got 20k hands in and about 3/4 weeks experience so we'll live and learn as we go.

Regards Mack

PS thanks for the advice anyway, I'm sure it was well meant.

stop running bad

I think you're running very bad if you've ran into aces 13 out of 15, don't stop calling here if you know their range is QQ KK AA AK because eventually this will be a winning call.

Do you run ubernitty? 12/10 or 10/8ish? This could lead to reconsideration

*only when you're UTG, meaning your UTG stats would be like 3/3 - 5/5

I run 22/14 so i should get 3 bet a lot which i seem to do, by good players, but when the money goes all in I am always behind it seems, most of the time it is decent players 3 or 4 betting me into pot committment with my KK, so I have the choice of all-in or fold, each time i chose all-in.

They would notice if you ran 10/8, running 22/14 you must be experiencing the rough end of variance to keep running kings into aces.

Fair enough, point taken, I'm holding onto a WR of 8.5PTB/100 at the same time as this happening so I'm still fairly happy, just wondering really if I was getting out of line.

Thanks
