This may come across as a silly question but I have lost a lot of confidence in my turn and river play recently. I have consistently been making the wrong decision. So I am getting back to basics.

On this hand, I was suspicious that villian kept calling on such a scary board and struggled with whether I should just check behind or fire on the river. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Villain isn't very tight pf and doesn't show any aggression, so you may easily have him outkicked. I think he will call $8 or so with a weaker ace. If you get raised... well you'd probably get shown an A6 then.

Def value bet here. If he did have an A he would have raised your turn bet since the board is flushing. He probably has a K and he picked up a flush draw on the turn -- value bet and he will probably pay you off.

2/3 the pot. Might be a value bet might be a bluff.

[/ QUOTE ]this is completely wrong. how on earth is this EVER a bluff??? there is 0% that he EVER folds a better hand here. it is such an easy vbet tho. if he had u beat he would crai the turn without question. his range is Ax and Kx here a ton. make it 3/4ths or so and chuckle when he turbo calls with A2o

I think you have to bet here. I'd prob bet $6-7 bucks. Villain has Kx most of the time here.

Bet around $10.

He's been calling you all the way so I put him on ace with a smaller kicker. If he shows A4 or A6 then bad luck, but bad play to him.

Certainly bet. $9 seems good. Fold to a raise.
