I'm reluctant to post this hand, since it could easily just be bad beat whining, but I'm curious as to how many people play it this way. I basically made a "commitment decision" on the flop to move in if an overcard didn't come on the turn. Villain is 60/3/1 over 100 hands.

Read dependant. But he does not look much of monkey from stats point of view.

Hadn't seen them get too far out of line post-flop. Lots of calling. I was considering checking behind on the turn, but there was way too much out there in the way of draws to do that. I wasn't sure how I could fold getting over 2:1 on the turn.

The reason why I think this is a fold is because villain is such a HUGE calling station. If he had unpaired overcards or AT or something like that, all I see him doing is calling the turn. The fact that he moved all-in, I think you have to put him on a big hand here. Against a different type of player this would be reasonable, but with someone who is so unaggressive, a CRAI is such a giant warning flag.

You played turn fine now fold the river, you beat exactly ATh which a passive calling station would probably not get aggro wtih.

[/ QUOTE ]SB was all-in on turn.

I can find a fold here, he *might* do this with TPTK but that is such a small part of his range and such a narrow possibility I think calling is a bit of a stretch.

As an aside, in the future, don't show results, you'll get less biased replies that way.

Turn bet is fine. But I think I fold to a c/r. Odds are really irrelevant.

It's such an obvious "bad beat" hand that it doesn't matter if I show the results or not. Everyone would know I lost the hand. Otherwise, I wouldn't post it.

Fold to huge CRAI. I think he is making it clear he has a big hand.

Fold turn. By calling your flop bet he's either got an overpair or has hit something on the flop, or is on some sort of draw. When he raises ai on the turn he's basically saying he's got a big hand, so I'd get out while I can.

i'd have to fold JJ to that RR. He's got you beat too often
