how much are you making in cash bonus' monthly on pokerstars? OR how much could you make assuming you only spent points on the 1500 bonus'

Example

Player that averages 35,000 VPPs a month for 2007.
1,362,250 FPPs for the year. (starting as bronze)

150,000 FPPs for milestone bonuses = $9,000
1,200,000 FPPs for SN Reward Bonuses = $18,000

VIP Freerolls = $3,000+

All this combined for a SNG player would be over 36% rakeback.

and also i doubt if there are a lot more than 10 players who can do that many vips points.

Example #2

Player that averages 18,000 VPPs a month for 2007.
756,000 FPPs for the year. (starting as SN)

50,000 FPPs for milestone bonuses = $2,000
700,000 FPPs for SN Reward Bonuses = $10,500

VIP Freerolls = $3,000+

All this combined for a SNG player would be over 36% rakeback.

This does not take into account reload bonuses, double VPP days and other promos which are NOT deducted from your MGR.

Stars VIP program is the best reward system on the internet.

It is MUCH better than almost any rakeback you can find.

I'm sure there are a ***lot*** more than 10 people who are already over 420k VPP this year. Heck, there will probably be a couple of dozen Supernova Elites (1M+ VPP) - there are already a couple so far this year.

I get enough points for example 2.

I have a full time job, a fiancee and I'm lazy, as well. It's not difficult to get that many points if you're a good player.

I play 100NL and should get 500k this year.

Anyone playing 60s+ professionally should have no problem at all reaching 500k+ VPP...at that point is 35% or so RB.

it counts every year from zero?
I thought the milestones are lifetime bonuses (i.e. once a life and nothing more).

It's great, yes, but:
Not for everybody. there are a lot of things to take into account. RB, bonuses, softness of games, game selection...

How come 36% rakeback is the best on the internet?

Ipoker = 50% plus Points to cash out

Prima = 61% plus points to cash out

Since when did 36% RB became good???
Almost any muppet bonus from any other site is better than what stars offer.

Stars is a nice site and those sites are crap and shady. Try that.

Ive never played Stars in my life. Can someone tell me, what RB equivalent would someone who played 30K hands at 10/20 llimit make?

Thanks! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

It's not great at that level of play - roughly 11% for the first 3 months, and up to 18% after that. If you play lots, then it becomes considerably better.

I'm currently getting the equivalent of about 25% at 10/20, but will be up to about 34% by the end of the year. If one makes Elite, then the RB% is actually quite good for the next year, starting at 25% and escalating from there (not even including the tourney packages...)

1pokerboy - how many hours per session and days per week are you playing to achieve 500K VPP per year?

Others with full-time job and life - how many hours and days per week are you playing, and at what level to achieve these high VPPs?

I recently switched to cash games and at 100NL right now, with a full-time job, wife and newborn baby at home. I've been trying to get in 2-4 hours, 3 days per week and seems like 10,000 VPP might be a stretch. I was playing only tourneys and SNGs, but at low level they don't have VPPs very fast. Halfway through this month and I'm a little over halfway to Platinum, for the first time.

I play 6-7 days a week, usually a total of 15-20 hrs/wk. I play primarily 5/10-10/20 6m LHE (10-12 tables) so I can get 1000+ vpps/hr pretty regularly.

I am currently playing NL100. Only play a couples hours a day on average (anywhere from 6-9 tables). On pace for roughly 12k VPP's this month. Be first time I have ever made platinum level. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

PokerStars has VIP Reward Bonuses for GoldStars, PlatinumStars and Supernovas. Players use their FPPs to purchase a bonus from the VIP Store. The Supernovas may purchase a $1500 bonus for 100,000 FPPs.

Hi.

I 12 table NL100.
It's a bit over 400 VPPs per hour, if you are platinum star (2.5x), it's about 1000 FPPs/hour = 15$/hr. With supernova, it's like 1400-1500 FPPs/hour = 22$/hr, depending on how many "high speed" tables... although the difference is hardly significant.

At 50NL, it was about half of the above numbers. And 1/4th of above #s for 25NL. Haven't made it to 200NL yet, but I'd imagine it'll double.

Do some math with #s to figure out how many you'll be getting depending on # of tables you are playing. So far this month I've made 46K VPPs (40 hrs/week), and am hoping to finish at around 80K VPPs.

those are the bonus's you get for levels of Supernova.

If you achieve 500k VPPs one year, the next year you start over at 0VPPs (though you still keep your regular Nova status for purposes of FPPs).

Once you obtain 200k VPPs for the year you will get your bonus again.... This is how I see it.

Stars would not want to discourage their highest volume players to continue playing huge amounts of hands.
