FTP Point calculation

So I am trying to figure out the quickest way to clear the new FTP bonus. It seems that for each $1 of rake in cash games, you get 1 FTP point. And for every SNG you get 7 points per $1 of rake...

So my total rake for the month so far (in pokertracker) says $262 from NL cash games... How many points does this come out to?

If it is only 262 points, I see no reason to continue playing cash games, and will move on over to SNG's.

see bonuswhores for more info on the specific clear rates, i read that clearing this at the micro cash limits is hard, maybe sng is the way to go then...

FTP points are given in cash games at the rate of 1 dollar in rake for 1 FTP point, but they are given for all rake paid at the tables, not just your share of the rake. So if you played full ring, you should have around 2100 FTP points (assuming an average of 8 players per hand) and for 6max about 1300 points (assuming about 5 per hand).
