This is villain's first hand. I've got two questions. First, I checked the turn to try to keep the pot small. Should I keep the pedal down? Also felt like this was a great bluff/semi-bluff card for him and couldn't stand a raise at all. Second, is the weak lead blocker thing the way to go on the river? Should I c/c, and if so, how big of a bet should I instead c/f?

Villain has ~ $21 on the river.

No sense in keeping the pot small on the turn when it's already $10. If you want a small pot, don't raise pre-flop. I'd bet the turn. Can't let the straights hit, which one did on the river. The turn also put 2 diamonds on the board. K10 could easily be the best hand, so bet it as such. If he raises, you're in a tough spot. If he calls, I'd probably check down the river 4. If he value bets with a better hand, I probably pay it off. It's a decent sized pot, and at the very least, you'll get some information about how they play.
