Villian just sat down, so no reads. I feel like my hand is good, but what do you guys think. My overpairs seem to be getting destroyed lately (turn card changes nothing), so I'm a little gunshy...

Villian could have 5s6s or posible 5x6x. Since there was no re-raise i wouldn't put villian on AA,KK,QQ it's possible that he's got JJ,1010 or 99. IMO I'd pull the trigger on the turn.

Your conclusion doesn't match your argument.

I don't see how this post aids the discussion.

As for the hand, I either jam or fold on the flop. I don't like calling. There aren't many turn cards that will help clarify the situation and being OOP on the turn w/o a hand you're sure is best, against an unknown player....that's a pain in the butt to play.

anybody else think my flop bet/call was bad. if he's got some kind of combo draw, i figured i'd call and reevaluate the turn.
