I have been playing at 17/15/3.4 and not getting out of line against this particular villain.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker (http://www.legopoker.com) Hand History Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh))

Hero (SB): $39.25
BB: $18.35
UTG: $7.75
CO: $25.00
BTN: $53.20

Reads: <font color="blue">Villain is 38/23/1.4 over 106 hands.</font>

Preflop: Hero is dealt Q/images/graemlins/club.gif Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (5 Players)
UTG folds, <font color="red">CO raises to $0.50</font>, BTN calls $0.50, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.00</font>, 2 folds, BTN calls $2.50

Flop: ($6.75) 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 7/images/graemlins/club.gif 5/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $4.50</font>, BTN calls $4.50

Turn: ($15.75) 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">BTN bets $9.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero ?

I bet/fold the turn here.
Your in tough spot now, playing oop with a lot invested. If he shoves any river you pretty much have to fold. C/c the turn makes life tough

I think he's floating us because he thinks we got two overcards.
But b/f is probably good, too.
