25NL AA line check

Villain is 15/1/0.29 over 70 hands. Couple minutes earlier he called a MP raise with QQ on the button and then played the safest flop ever very passively, so any aggression from this guy really gets my attention. I suppose I should have paid him off, but I just don't see me beating any part of his range. Just screams set or KQ. Thoughts on any and all streets appreciated (my turn bet was smaller than it should have been, yes).

I would have paid him off, but I think he had you beat.

One problem you have is that you wouldn't think AK would make it to the turn. So if Villain is betting just a pair, it figures to be less than top pair.

cb - turn check is better here. THis is because there are no draws and he's likely to be VERY predictable on the river. I think even this super-passive guy risks losing too much value if he checks river with KQ. So if he bets river u can just fold, but if he checks then u can bet.

God that line is just so [censored] ridiculous lol. But IMO this is how u take advantage of someone who is wayyyy too nitty on the flop. Just play the turn more passive with ur marginal overpair/TPTK hands.

Sorry If he bet river for like 1/2-&gt;2/3 I may call but I would never call a PSB from him on river if I check turn.
