BB bets $10.50, Hero calls $10.50.

Final Pot: $54.75.

This guy seems to be very tight. I called the flop because I think this is WA/WB and draws are not very likely. I wanted to fold to any Turn barrel, at the River I thought I was behind but called b/c of pot odds.
What do you think?

What do you put him on preflop?
AA/KK?: Fold flop, since you played that hand preflop for set value.
TT+?: Raise preflop.
AQs+,AQ+?: Raise preflop and raise flop.

Your play seems pretty weird.

i kinda like it, it helps you put more of a range what bb is giong to repop you for from the blinds, but i raise the flop to that bet and then give up, i don't see a tight player calling a reraise there except with aa or kk, and with 2 diamonds, i don't want ak of diamonds getting there

against a very weak bet, i certainly am floating him once here in position.... because he probably plays ak/tt+ the same way

[ QUOTE ]
TT+?: Raise preflop.

[/ QUOTE ]
why? so that he can fold the hands we beat, and push the hands we dont beat (or coinflipping with)

[ QUOTE ]
AQs+,AQ+?: Raise preflop and raise flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

he's probably too tight to play aq this way, maybe a aqs some times....

I don't understand why hero isn't 4betting this hand preflop? We got position and we got a good hand. He's not folding JJ to a raise preflop. Hero never made a stand in this hand.

What are you up to? I get 3bettet in this Hand by a quite tight player, and I'm not used to 4bet preflop with QQ. A 4bet would be good on NL400 I suppose, but at NL50 people don't 3bet that light, especially a villain like this!

so the point of your raise is to make the hands you beat fold?

well what do you do after calling his 3 bet on a flop like this? become a calling station? if you raise and get repopped your toast, the only 10s kings aces beat you, only jjs you have dominated and ak-- to me that 9 dollars looks like a cbet and he just wants to take it down

Why don't we want to bet behind his turn check? Doesn't an overpair fire the 2nd barrel here?

I call and fold flop. Almost noone 4bets hands that we beat. We are getting immediate odds of 2:1 and the rest will most likely go in when you hit a set. If I mis this flop I put him on AA/KK.

These situations suck.

well what do you do after calling his 3 bet on a flop like this?/quote]
if he bets big fold
if not check behind and reevaluate
turnign your hand into a bluff is never a good idea
