At the time I was thinking villains range is kinda strong and he has a full stack so I can call 2bbs and hope to stack him if I hit two pair or better. Thoughts?

call turn. push river for 1/2psb.

against a nit with a big stack who is predictable the call is fine

line is good, lot of nits get scared of sets when u c/r flop

As played i think your line is fine. Agaisnt a nit i fold pf. His range looks pretty strong, set/overpair. Push turn/call to push river is debatable but id probably play the same as u.

nobody folds for 2 bbs vs a nit, because you stack him if you hit and you can easily get away from your hand if you miss, anyone checking that flop to let him catch up because i don't know if a nit calls that bet with ak or aq-- just out of curiosity but i think the lines great, esp since he reraised the turn, hes going all the way

Based on Villians (nits) stats, I like calling turn raise, and 3/4 pot bet on river. There are almost no cards in the deck that can help him now.

IMO.

Why give him the chance to fold the river when we can commit him now? And what do you do on a spade river? Call here sucks

calling turn is just fancy play syndrome IMO, villain is signalizing a strong hand when he is raising the turn, and he is never folding it after putting half his stack in.

Results: Villain calls with 88 and river blanks.

Because I know Heroes play. And this gives him maximum value for hand. IMO.

I donīt think you can play 67o for straight implied odds here, but it seems like this guy might not bet his AK when he whiffs the flop so you might showdown for cheap when you pair up.
