4 handed, connected board... I'm betting this flop ($2) for sure.
You would hate to have it checked around, since there are so many turn cards that could ruin your hand.

The 7 sucks, because there are 4 to the straight on board.
As played, the pot is so big already that I don't like betting again. I think check/calling is best, although a case could probably even be made for check/folding here.

Once I get to the river, I'm definitely not betting again. Check/call a smallish bet, and fold to anything bigger.

i lead the flop since it was limped. i check the turn and if he bets i might call depending on the size but probably c/f river unimproved. i think c/r on the flop inflates the pot size too much.

Is the villain's $14 river bet:

A) Smallish, so please call me.
B) Smallish, I am bluffing.
C) I have a Q and think you are bluffing so I'll try to bet my pair.
D) You must have missed your flush so I'm going to make a small bet with my marginal hand.

Going for a checkraise in a limped pot is usually really bad since it is so far from a given that anyone will bet. With the board like this tons of cards can either kill your action or make you a second best hand so you really need to make sure you charge those hands to suckout.

Fold preflop. 65o sucks.

i would lead the flop and bet out the turn, check call the river and be vary of any asgression shown by villian

i would also probably fold this pf so as not to be in this situation

i fold preflop or call, all dependent on the likelihood i'll get paid off in a limped pot at this table. just lead flop.

pf is a spew, plain and simple.

lead flop

turn is tougher. pot $24 and $30 behind. I might bet $15-16 and fold to a raise like you cuz the flush draw is there.

river - yea i don't think i can let go with $14 to win $80. Odds are just too good dammit.

Preflop is fine in my opinion.

I agree it is really tough to fold the hand on the river, although I cannot see him betting many hands which you beat. Tough turn.. I like your play though.

Your bet sizing on flop and turn means he pretty much always has to have a hand here because he is not getting right odds either implied or pot to draw to the flush.

Thanks for the opinions, i realized i didn't play this hand that well and was interested in knowing how other people would have played it.

Here's the result:

UTG had 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 3/images/graemlins/club.gif (three of a kind, Threes) and WON (+$40.00)
Hero had 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif (two pair, Sixes and Fives) and LOST (-$40.00)

Quit saying stuff like this as if it is fact.

PF is NOT spew. At worst it is going to be about neutral EV. If you only play it for 2 pair or better on the flop you only need to get someone to call 1 PSB for you to have made a profitable call preflop.

JackAll,
You've been posting in SSNL for a while, and most of the post you make I completely agree with. This statement makes absolutly no sense, will you explain your reasoning?

Preflop is fine so long as you know the relative value of your hand postflop and your positional disadvantage doesn't bend you over.

I def lead the flop. Check-raising has created a huge pot with you out of position, ick. As played I'm trying to get all-in as fast as possible before more bad cards fall lol.

Bad check on flop. You should bet pot and call a raise. At turn, I'd check-call in most cases.
