I just sat down at this table about 15 min ago. No solid reads on villain, although he seems like a careless player.

Full Tilt Poker Game #3125139332: Table Everly (6 max) - $0.05/$0.10 - No Limit Hold'em - 19:23:07 ET - 2007/08/01

Seat 3: balkecards ($12.25)
Seat 4: mrcali4u ($5.75)
Seat 5: carman3633 ($6.75)
Seat 6: karkstark1 ($17.95)
mrcali4u posts the small blind of $0.05
carman3633 posts the big blind of $0.10
The button is in seat #3
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Johnny Blaze 88 [9h 9c]

Johnny Blaze 88 raises to $0.35
schmuddy28 has 15 seconds left to act
schmuddy28 raises to $1.20

carman3633 folds
Johnny Blaze 88 calls $0.85

schmuddy28 bets $9.80, and is all in
Johnny Blaze 88 ???????????

Why is he overbetting that? Could he be floating AK, thinking that I missed that small flop, or is he trying to induce a call with QQ/KK???

Do you call/fold here? (considering no strong reads on villain)

Without a read this is a fold. Get a read, trap and stack.

he reraised you preflop with 77+ or highcards
he doesnt want you to draw to a str8 with an ace or something or he might have TT-QQ and is afraid if an overcard hits

Tough spot, since he is careless i might look him up here and make a note

You can't call. Also, you seem to have an unusual understanding of the term 'float'.

How is this floating?
