That story refers to Ben Stevens, former President of the Alaska Senate and Ted Stevens' son.

It's the same criminal investigation, more or less, but Ted Stevens being personally involved is a mostly new development. This much I know, anyone who calls the Internet a series of tubes is unlikely to be on our side.

He is almost incoherent, at least from the two times i've listened to him in person. And last summer, at the height of the scandal, he didn't know what a presidential signing statement was. The guy is incredibly senile.

Apparently not senile enough to be able to know how to take bribes and be involved in corruption scandal, though.

This is Mr Bridge to Nowhere. He is old, but lives in the most reliably Republican state going. Its fertile ground for a good Lib, but the Republicans are good at making the right gestures to more indigenous people and appeasing the semi-militia/wilderness full arsenal types. He could be indicted Jefferson style and still probably win re-election. But whoever said he was for sale, is right.

Senator Ted's Girdwood (ski resort just outside of ANchorage) house was raided by the FEEB yesterday. The speculation is that it is more likely related to his son, former president of the State Senate Ben Stevens, who is (allegedly) a massive crook (or at least massive on the Alaskan scale) then to anything Ted himself did.
