Wondered what your play is here. Villain is 40/25/1.6 from 40 hands and I am running at 24/18/7.

I think I should 3-bet preflop but as played what's your play on the flop?

id rather lead flop. if he calls im gonna most of the time c/f.

if you want to play it like this you can always call and see what he does on the turn. if he ends up checking again your 88 is almost always good here and hes just c-betting.

3 betting/calling pf are both good, I don't mind either.
As played I think I call, this is good board to bluff at but you have a hand with showdown value so getting to river cheaply is what you want
