This guy is 72/24 over ~100

He's sooo bad it's brilliant. Thus far he has called everyones c-bets, not just mine and led when checked to. He's also shown down middle pair more than once.

I hit top 2 and check knowing he'll call a c/r. I wasn't expecting the other guy to come along who had not stepped out of line so far.

I think my flop bet was a tad too small but as played and bearing in mind he's a show down monkey is my play valid?

If not, tell me a better line.

Thanks,

Stu

id probably just led both streets since the flop is kinda drawy. If villian raises anywhere then id reraise and look to get AI if possible.

Lead the flop and turn...no need to get tricky against this guy. Just value bet.

Don't go for the cr on the turn after cr'ing on th flop. Just lead the urn for 7-8 and shove river

i prefer just lead/calling the turn. i guess double c/r sortve works. flop cr is fine as well.

I lol'd at c/r on turn, not because it is bad but it looks spectacular against a maniac. Obv you raised flop with FD and are c/f any bet. Nice hand. I'll use it. Edit: Manics don't check behind. Ever.

You have to lead out the turn. In this case well u had a maniac that had no clue about what was going on and bet again, but on that heavy draw board, you cannot take the risk of giving free cards.
Shove the river, if he has 45, well... just reload.

By definition a maniac bets if you check, am I wrong? They don't necessarily call bets or shove over you all the time but you check and they bet.
