in general, what kinda of players are playing these limits and how should I adjust my play to them?

I am multitableing and having a hard time making myself an ABC that makes money. I used to be a good NL5 player, hell started from -50 went to 200 safely but NL10 is killing me. Theres NL10 2/5c and NL10 5/10 c for any comments.

Oh and please dont tell me : their all donks just play your abc poker cuz that does not help me. I get check/raised on the flop and slowplayed on RIO way too often to consider them all donks.

Make small pots with marginal hands so you don't slap yourself when you fold/get bluffed. Make big pots when you have strong hands. Value bet value bet value bet. Cannot be stated enough my friend.

Read the pr0crast NL anthology, helps alot. Play position to the fullest extent and abuse the crap out of CO and BTN, especially when folded to.

GL and hope this helps.

they're still donks. .02/.05 blinds is 5NL, .05/.10 in 10NL. im guessing you were crushing .01/.02 which is 2NL. seriously, just play your basic ABC poker at 5NL, wait for your good hands and valuebet to death. i run about 17/11 at 5NL right now over about 20k hands and im consistently winning so it just takes some time. if you get c/r and you are unimproved, let it go and move on. the most typical plays you will see are the passive check/call flop/turn bet/river lines. one pair is normally not good there. basically, if someone starts blasting into you, they probly have the goods. read dependent of course.

they probably aren't any better than the average NL5 player, just play position and minimize your losses and maximize your wins

i guess i should add that i play on stars, where NL 5 is 1.2c and NL 10 can either be 2c5c OR 5c10c thank you.

More tags in 10nl than 5nl but they aren't very aware of position and play awful post-flop. It's not much different in general, just a bit tighter pre-flop. Oh, the 200bb buy-in 5/10nl game on stars is typically very loose-passive, I like it better than 100bb 10nl.

Restlys, I have a few hands on you at NL10 and have just reviewed a few of them.

You have some serious leaks. I have seen you raise crap out of the SB when there are limpers and I have also seen you raise absolute tosh on the btn. Stealing is an integral part of the game but there are limits to what tyou should raise with.

I have looked at a couple of your wining hands too and your bet sizing is pretty poor when you have position and a huge hand. Essentially you are losing value post flop.

Hope this helps.
