No use posting hands like this in my opinion. You basically gave away the control of the hand to an unknown which SUCKS.

No hope in really gaining control back to a somewhat aggressive player, especially to a strong C-BET.

yeah 3-bet PF and then c-bet flop

ty all, I know I totally screwed it up by not reraising PF, but as played, what should I do on the river?

Reraise him preflop and take control of the hand with position. As played, you shoulda folded at the turn. There is no point risking any more chips than that as you have no reads on him. He's probably got AQ/KQ.

Fold this turn, that's simple.

If you are going to play JJ this way, you are only playing for set value much like a smaller pocket pair, you should have dumped this at the latest on the turn.

You might as well check fold, especially with that board. If you do hit your J, with a Queen and a 10 out there, you could be up against a continuation bet from an at best.

This hand feels like you are up against AQ or KQ that wants the hand over with.

Also, HERO calls are overrated. Pick a better spot if you are going to play your mid pairs this way.

3 bet pf.

As played:
maybe call around $5 on turn.
I wouldn't even think about calling a river bet here.
