Villain is unknown but seems a bit like all the other donkeys in the garden, e.g. overvalues one pair hands and is difficult to move off his hand once he's fallen in love with it.
Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter (http://www.legopoker.com/hh))
SB: $26.85
Hero (BB): $28.60
UTG: $19.70
MP: $24.70
CO: $32.25
BTN: $19.35
Preflop: Hero is dealt 7/images/graemlins/club.gif 5/images/graemlins/club.gif (6 Players)
<font color="red">UTG raises to $0.50</font>, MP folds, CO calls $0.50, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.25
Decide to limp along to this somewhat sweetened pot. I'm not a fan of this though since SC's don't play well OOP. But it's puppyfeet so what else can you do.
Flop: ($1.60) 8/images/graemlins/club.gif 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif K/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $1.25</font>, <font color="red">UTG raises to $2.50</font>, CO folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $6.25</font>, UTG calls $3.75
Monster draw, he only minraises me so I 3-bet him. Guess I should've bet more since $3.75 into a $10.35 pot may not make him want to fold at all. Didn't want to push here because the pot was small. Then again, I'm probably 50/50 here and missing the turn would put me in an awkward position since I'm OOP, making me about a 2-to-1 dog. Villain calls the 3-bet which makes me believe he's got top pair at least.
Turn: ($14.10) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 Players)
Hero ???
All right, so this is the position I didn't want to find myself in. Villain's got $12.95 left. What would be the best plan of action? Unless villain has AK the ace didn't likely boost his hand strength, and the turn card may frighten him a bit. On the other hand, I'm not at all sure that he cares about what I have.
