SHOVE if villain has a set I'll pay it off..I think you'll see draws and lower pair hands enough to be +EV...

AA/KK are in his range(I would play AA like this but not KK)..Most villains(absent a read) will 4 bet them PF so I usually discount them...

OTOH if AA and KK is in his range that will make a shove even more +EV IMO...That would show a tendency to slowplay and make a flop set less likely and pushing a weaker made hand or draw more likely..

Also IMO we have put in to much of our effective stack to fold an overpair in this "steal" raise position hand...

This will vary and have a lot to do with your image..

If I was button and had AA the tighter the BB is the more likely I am to 4 bet and try to get AI PF..Conversely if BB has a Laggy image I will call and raise the flop...A lags 3 bet range is much greater and is less likely to have a hand he'll take to the felt PF...But will C-bet nearly 100% of the time...

Did not want to bump an old thread..I would shove there to..Sometimes you just need to go broke..

Sometimes..

4 times in 1000 hands, 3x QQvKK, 1x KKvsAA (flopped sets for both of us) oh and 1 KK vs. 64suited flush on river..

This is standard....
