Villain is 28/18/2.4 over 50 hands. I've noticed hes positionally aware, and steals a significant proportion of the blinds.

SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $2.5, SB folds, BB raises to $7, Hero calls $4.50.

Turn: ($19) 6/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
BB bets $24.94 (All-In), Hero folds.

Final Pot: $43.94

Villain reraises me on the flop - should I re-raise or did I correctly call? His turn all in after the 6 hit lead me to think he might have trips, and thinks I'm on a flush draw - hence the all-in to drive me out of the pot.

You raise 8xBB preflop?

Think of hands that would c/r you on this flop, you aren't beating many of them.

Well sometimes villian might be messing around with a flush draw, but thats rare OOP. On the flop I'm not really willing to call a raise with a hand that doesn't even beat top pair.

he can have set or a a pair of queens or a decent draw in any case in such spot your hand isnt very strong, fold and look for a spot where you have a stronger hand

You've just pointed out something thats blindingly obvious that didn't hit home.

Regarding the 8xBB pf raises, I'll reduce that to maybe 5x or 6x depending on limpers ahead. cheers
