comments on all streets welcomed... i figured there was no way he calls my reraise with two clubs besides maybe a x of clubs, but i figured i was good more than 3/4 the time on the river so i decided to go ahead and try to extract some value-- good, bad, ugly?
btw- the check on the flop was to look weak, let him catch up, etc b/c i really didn't see him having two clubs

Checking the flop is bad. Not sure why you didn't see him having 2 clubs but a limp call is often suited cards. Charge him. Also if a K or Q hits you may chop. Finally, why the need to "let him catch up"...either that flop hit him or it didn't. Get the $ in the middle.

I'd bet flop; pot turn; check behind river (or call if he bets).

Any hand you let "catch up" on the flop will have you beat/tied if it improves, so not betting the flop was horrible.

gotcha, man i got berated for that move-- i just wanted maximum value outa my nut straight if he had ace trash, but i guess most hands are calling a bet preflop with anything they want to continue-- thanks

Villain only has about a PSB left, so why not?

Because Hero was IP and MP's action before that is missing. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Bet flop, pot turn, value river, if he shoves it's read dependent.
