I am new to this unlimited hold 'em, after a couple of years of min bet. what to do with this overpair?

Can't really put villian on a draw on this flopp. he could play set this way or QQ+. i often win big pots when my overpair > their overpair when they push and I call.

I hear the mantra, never go bust with one pair in the back of my head. should I have reraised AI on flop? as played, should I call this turn?

31/16/1.17 (but river AF is 0; flopAF 1.7, turnAF 2) over 70 hands

Hero checks, CO bets $17 which would put me all in.

Reason you call flop is to c/c turn. Otherwise, fold to flop raise.

This is tough. He might have A8, he might have a straight draw, or he might have a set.

Going all-in on the flop is an option, but I hate getting all my money in with just one pair.

With the limited stats on villain and no real reads, I would definitely fold the turn. I think calling the flop is okay, but maybe a fold at times as well

why not just shove it on the flop? you called his huge raise, now your almost potcommited to calling this shove, he didn't reraise to qq, kk, and aces are unlikely, he (looks to me) like he tripped up or a8, any reads on how he views you? as played, i think you have to push flop

i guess better question than call on turn is whether to fold to flop raise. obviously i have to call turn, and am happy when he pushes. I never fold in this situation, but always wonder if I am being a donk even though I have never been up against a set. In this hand he had 99.
