he could have just about anything since you made two really weak bets and then checked the river. you gotta make a real bet on the flop there.

I would say you're beat here. I'd fold river.

For the flop and turn I think you should have bet a little bit more, 1.50-2 $ on flop and 2/3-3/4 pot on turn.

As others said your flop and turn bets are on the smaller side, esp the turn bet. That 1/2 pot bet isnt sitting right with me.

I will say I liked your plan of a c/c on the river, IDK if it worked here this time or not. 7.5 is right about the number I am not real comfortable calling, and in the end Ill probably call more than fold, however. Im a station,.

With a straight draw this obvious, I REALLY like to charge as much as possible against a potential draw to the nut straight. I like at least a pot-sized bet here, and sometimes overbet the pot.

My reasoning is with a board this drawy and potential overcards to come, it is good to take the pot right there. And if you don't take the pot, you have significantly reduced your opponents odds to draw.

You'll occasionally run into an already-made straight on a board like this, so be careful. A bet on the flop is essential and I like a bet on the turn as well. If he calls those two bets, I'm reluctant to call a river bet, however.

geting almost 2.5-1 and how you played this hand makes it a call I guess. then throw up when you get shown 56

You need to get more aggressive with your betting. Your small bets are very weak.

As played, I would probably call.
