In general c-betting in multiway pots is bad; you'll get called too often and have a bloated pot to deal with but no hand.

Getting 3-1 he isnt too far behind here. Villain will hold a FD here a lot, leaving OP ahead (usually, marginally), and he is certainly not a 3-1 dog here often, and short stacks suck, I call here.
