Vilain is 19vip, 3.5 PFR and 1.38 aggro on 100 hands.

I have no specific reads on him since this is my first or second orbit at the table. If he was a short stack, I would have called but he was 80bb deep.

I actually timed out this hand. I was trying to count my odds and it folded on me. I'm still not used to FTP's timer.

At the time, JJ, QQ and KK made less sense because he didn't RR me PF. That's why I put him on the set.

I think I should have called this. He could easily have TP + FD or JJ,QQ,KK...

What if there was no possible FD? I'd call right?

I don't know about the biggest fold ever, but i can find a fold here. His AF is relatively low, so I don't see him pushing here without a hand that can beat an overpair often enough for the call to be profitable.

It's my biggest fold..doesn't mean it would have been yours /images/graemlins/smile.gif

It could also have been his way to protect his blind...

This is bad. Very bad.

Im a bit confused what draw would do this?

Battle of blinds? His range is pretty wide, at least higher than 19vpip I should think. QQ/JJ/TT does seem unlikely. You have a nice redraw against any kind of combo or flush draw. I call here.

You should be more confused as to what hand would do this.

2pair, 77, 66, 33, 45.

Capone, I played I think over 150k hands and never saw neither of these in this situation. Not once. What is a likely hand here however, is KK. And don't forget that villain puts hero on AK /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

You have it totally backwards. The more draws there are on the flop the more likely you should be to call this bet. I probably call this as there are tons of draws out, but I wouldn't be surprised to see 2pr+ either. Wouldn't expect to see an overpair here very often but it could happen.

I dunno, wouldn't no possible FD narrow his range to hands that beat you? The fact there is a flush draw out there is good for your hand I think. This will be a draw or smaller overpair more often than a set imo.

i recently had the same situation (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=microplnl&Number=11130046 &Searchpage=1&Main=11130046&Words=+AroundTheHorn&t opic=&Search=true#Post11130046) and a guy made pretty much the exact play on a very drawy board. i called w/ my KK, and villian showed me a set of 9s... FOLD!!!

Same thing hapenned to me yesterday too. I called and he showed a set but it could be badluck... I think I should've called here and fold on a board w/out any draw.

To smooth: Having draws makes Top pair or second pair + draw likely.

I have to call here, look at the line you took from his perspective, your line is standard weak play..

easy fold. 1.38 is way to low for him to even be pushing draws, this is 2pr+ every time.

thats wrong because his vpip is >>>>> his pfr, making his AF much lower than it would be otherwise. this is why AF sucks IMO, i much prefer to look at the percentages. i have them enabled on my pahud layout.
