Readless, opponent played 3 hands.

Bet turn and river? Check both? Bet turn, check river? Check turn, bet river? I hate missing value but I don't want to get check raised either. Did I play this hand like a little girl?

Def bet on turn, and I think checking the river is fine on this board.

Am I missing something or did you check the nuts behind on the turn /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Bet turn, bet river. Only way to make money is if he hit something.

YOU CHECKED TEH NUTS ON THE TURN IP

WHY? WHY WOULD ONE DO SUCH A THING?

Yes, bet the turn and i'd bet the river. People at these levels love their beautiful Ace.

The only hand that would beat you is TT. (AA and KK would have 3-bet preflop). TT would have probably raised the flop because it's scary, so nothing to be afraid of.

You check the turn with possible flush draw in there ... and it gets there? I know I am new but am I missing something? /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Villian could also have something like 8d9d and worried about a higher flush.....

In any case, bet turn+river no question. If I get raised, I'd have to think about a flush but still need to get the money in.

Yeah, like everyone is saying, bet turn hard...you have nothing to fear. The river I don't know--if there are 3 diamonds on the board, will anyone call a bet with 2pair or a pair...ie, something we beat?

At 5NL you have a good chance of getting called by A2 and a very good chance of getting called by two pair. As for a set, I remember seeing people slowplay and shove the river with bottom set on boards like A/images/graemlins/spade.gifJ/images/graemlins/spade.gif10/images/graemlins/spade.gif5/images/graemlins/spade.gifK/images/graemlins/heart.gif. No joke.
