UTG is 46/14/1.8 (edit: changed the numbers)

I called the flopbet because it looked kinda weak. Against UTG's range I think I get the correct odds to call.

On the turn I make a straight. I raise for value and to protect against the flush and the 8.

Is this a good line, or is the straight to obvious and will I get not much value this way?

Raise the turn more, 5-6

14/46???? What? I'm probably raising the flop up to $3. As played, the turn bet looks super weak, I make it $5 at least, probably like $6. Then it's a really small percentage of the pot for the rest of his chips on the river (and you charge a flush draw, which seems sort of likely, given his weak bets).

Sorry, I had the stats for UTG mixed up. Fixed it now.

Will anyone ever call a raise to $5 or $6? The straight is so obvious I think.
But you're right I should charge the flushdraw.

The straight looks obvious to you because you have it. Look at it from villains perspective. What hands are you calling a pre-flop raise with that have an 8? A8, 88. And he has to doubt you've got a 3. Actually, 46/14 probably isn't thinking at all. The whole hand plays easier if you raise the flop. Then your straight is really disguised. (And you're probably ahead anyway)

I also like a flop raise as I think your good often. As played, you have to raise the turn to get any value and charge a flush draw.
