Does anyone have a link to the actual event schedule for these? I am actually only interested in the very first one in Tunica. I will be out there during that time, and would like to know which events I will be able to play.

Thanks

If you contadt the poker room at the Grand Casino in Tunica they can fax you the schedule of events - As of Monday the actual format (blinds/time/etc) had not yet been determined or at least written in stone yet.

First true event starts 8/30 and is a $300 buyin NLH all the events from 8/30 till 9/5 are 300 - 500 buyin limit and no limit except for 9/2 pot limit.

Hope this helps

Johnny, ya, more like no strategy. You would think that Harrah's for all of their bloviating regarding how good they are on the general gaming side, e.g, data driven target marketing, player loyalty program, machine placement heat map analysis, floor management etc, they could spare a drop or two of that brilliance on the WSOP side.

Harrahs finally posted full schedule on www.worldseriesofpoker.com (http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com) for Tunica event.

Can you guess who put up their schedule first? And forces players to choose one event, instead of being able to make all of them by spacing them out??

I realize you had your schedule up first, and I can't for the life of me fathom what this war is between you and the WSOP events for players is all about.

There are enough of us to go around for both of you PLUS the HPT combined, to make it profitable.

Personally I think TPTB of both the WSOP and the WPT need to sit down and talk it out and realize you'd both make more money if you did space it out in different cities.

The HPT (the up and comming version of the WPT and WSOP) has already figured this fact out, and they make sure they schedule their events to NOT conflict with yours.

No, look up professional SPORTS in the United States...

It has long been the norm that competing sports teams and leagues can schedule around each other and share future schedule information to avoid conflicts as a MEANS OF SURVIVAL.

So, WPT, WSOP, and HPT, can do the same.

I'm guessing they will run it pretty much like they did last year, I can't remember the chip count, but I'm pretty sure the levels were 40 min blinds.
