Villain is a bit of a douche, but nothing reporting. He runs 24/7/1.7. When I bet the flop I knew he was going to c/r flop, just felt it coming, the speed of the check or something; idk. Thoughts on hand as played please?

You're definitely behind here, so how willing are you to gamble with only one card to come? Given the preflop action and with his c/r on the flop I'm thinking he has KK-AA, or a set; and I'm leaning more towards the overpair.

I don't know the math off the top of my head and don't have time to do it now but I'm pretty sure this is a clear fold with only one card to come.

I would have checked behind on the flop unless I saw him make a small RR like that preflop with a weak hand before. When I see a preflop raise like that out of the blue its usually AA.

given this is BVB i think there is a good chance you are ahead here. villains turn shove is not quite pot and you have 9-11ish clean outs if you are behind. given the bizaare way villain played this hand I am not totally opposed to a call here.

on the flop though, i probably would have checked behind for pot control and to possibly pick up a bluff on a later street.

what part of his range do you think we have odds to call herE?

I really don't see him doing this with less than AQ.

if we assume that we are never ahead of villian on the turn we dont have odds to call here.

Sooooo I guess the ? is whats is vilians range? and are we ever ahead enough to make a call profitable?

24/7/1.5 player is not limp/RR light IMO but who knows it BvB..

I might be a bit nitty but preflop min raise, flop c/minraise turn open shove screams strength. I guess calling the flop is ok... but def fold turn

Why did you call the flop raise if you were going to lay it down on the turn? ESPECIALLY with THIS turn card.

Anyway, I'm probably folding on the flop and folding on the turn as well.

Yes villians line does scream strength and I just don't see any worse hand playing it this way.
