Anyone have any suggestions going forward? I am a beginner micro player and am just looking to improve. Thanks

just a quick glance I noticed you attempted to steal blinds is %12 - should be closer to 30% IMO

You have a ton of preflop leaks, and assumably postflop leaks as well. I'm coaching, you should PM me.

this is way too small of a sample size to get an accurate picture of your play. so far, it looks like you need to tighten up and raise more pots when you do play. 32/7 is not good poker. like AZplaya said you need to raise more in position and steal more blinds

I'd start out with Ed Miller's Getting Started in Hold'em.

I don't remember if thats the exact title. It's the green book. It'll go over starting hand requirements. After that, buy no-limit hold'em theory and practice.

Then go from there.

"steal only when the blinds can be stolen" - balugawhale... It's $2NL, how often can a steal really be profitable?

Go here: http://www.pr0crast.com/2+2.NL.Anthology.v1.htm

Read it all, focusing on the fundamental section. This should give you a great start. After that, start posting hands that give you trouble, and read the posts of others @ 2NL, 5NL and 10NL.

Hey guys thanks for all the replies. I will certainly pick up some books. Most all of my "knowledge" has thus far come from bits and pieces of articles and blogs on the internet.

edit* thanks for that link above /images/graemlins/smile.gif

watch some of the free videos around here, check the ssnl sticky for istrong's vids. they will show you how to play a standard abc tag game and you will win.

ISn't that a limit book ?????

Anyways, no need for anything ... just have fun with the pr0crast anthology and start playing a lot more hands, I mean 1000 hands is what some of us play in an hour, so it really doesn't mean much.

Btw. you are too loose and/or too passive /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Loose-passive and do not use position, you are going to get run over. Post hands and read others as well. That will help more than stat posts. You'll get mostly solid advice here. Be more aggressive. Abuse passive players in position. Etc. Books are decent but you will get way better advice for micro limit by posting hands.
