Villian is 25/4/.67 postflop agg. over 24 hands.

So I guess I should have bet the turn. What do you think about that?

As played what's the river move here?

I would bet the turn here on a classic semi-bluff. If he calls you know your probably behind and check behind on the river if you don't improve. Is there a reason that you didn't bet the turn?

On this river I am going to bet about 1/2 the pot, but my river play needs a ton of improvement.

Ok yea looking at it it is pretty obvious I should have bet the turn.....I don't really know why I didn't.

Anyway though for everyone saying now bet turn I agree. But how much? Keep in mind pot is ~16 and villian has ~18 left.

Id probably bet like 7 here and fold to a push as I dont think villains bluff pretty much ever with a line like that at uNL.

I would bet about 12 here and call an all-in. I would normally bet 2/3 to 3/4 of the pot here and 12 is a nice round number.

short MP makes the turn an auto bet. You're not going for pot control. You improved over Jx and you're not losing to anything but a slowplayed set or KJ and you need to make the Ax draws pay.

Flop bet is a bit on the small side, especially considering MPs stack (if he c/r's there's no FE and you're going to be putting it all in.)

As played, bet river. 1/2 pot.

As played, since he checked the turn, I'd bet 7 or 8. He's almost never checking a monster to you there on the river.

Turn improved value of your hand. Bet again. A lot of hands that called the flop are behind now and he's got so little money left I expect him to shove over your bet with any hand he calls flop with really. River hurts your value because the same thing applies but that nine improved his hand a lot of the time and you still have to call his shove if you bet but no more cards are coming. I'd check behind river as played. Er, well, betting is fine too but you still have to call when he shoves and you aren't going to like it as much IMO. Turn is perfect spot to stack him off. River much worse.

So are you checking this turn because he's likely to never call when he's behind and you might induce a bet on the river?

I kinda like that line actually. Looks like AJ/KJ/QJ or a flopped set to me. With the K on the turn you're only ahead of AJ/QJ probably, so I doubt a bet is a great value on the turn.

When he checks the river I think I have to put out some kind of value bet because checking the K should get AJ/QJ to call a decent bet. Maybe 1/3 pot.

Edit: I think betting the turn may be better given that he could be drawing.
