i think you avoid a difficult decision if you bet the river, at least 1.6 or something. if you show strength on every street, and you get raised, you know your pair isn't any good there. when you shut down on the end to a blank, this happens. i'd rather be checking flops than rivers with tp4k.

Just to go in to why I think it's a call. Draws missed and he's aggressive on the river, he plays so many hands so he could definitely have Q-rag (and our kicker plays).
