Villain just sat down about 7 hands ago and bought in for $6. Should this be an easy decision against an unknown who bought in short?

the bet is so small call down for showdown value... the way he plays it looks like a flush... small bet on flop wanting to see turn cheaply... cheap bet on turn hoping you raise and also notice that the ace has come out and he is still not scared of it...

i would call the turn and call a reasonable size river bet unless the river is also a diamond.

he bet 17% pot on the flop and 16% on the turn. you have great odds to call. some of the more aggressive players here even raise in this spot. i just try to see the cheapest showdown possible but im kinda weak.

Wouldn't a reasonably-sized river bet be the rest of his stack ($2.40) on the river?

Considering MPs stack, I just go ahead and put him in. don't want to let another diamond fall off, and he's only got another 1/2 psb.

Ad was actually the best diamond as diamonds go. Makes it less likely he was on the diamond draw.
