I played around 3k hands this weekend and like 8 of my 10 biggest losers were with overcards. So I'd really like to get people's opinion of how I played these, if I could have gotten away, etc....

Hand 1
Villain is 37/2/1. I just kept betting and he just kept calling, since that's what calling stations do. On the river I thought I was beat so I made a small blocking bet. Wrong move?

Hand 2

Villain is 22/17/2 over about 500 hands. Seems solid but I thought he was playing a bit looser than those stats at the time.

What do you guys think? In the 2nd hand should I fold to that min-raise?

Hand 1: If you worried I would have made it something like 15-20 as I think you are ahead a lot of the time here. I think anybody with trip 2s is going to raise you at some point.

Hand 2: I dont like this all that much. I think id just call his flop bet and reevaluate on the turn. I think you will be seeing AA, KK or a set here almost always.

You know now that I really look at hand 2 that should have been a much easier fold. Like fees said, I'm only (barely) beating 2 hands really: 99 and tt. Everything else kills me.

In the first hand, I thought he was on a flush draw actually. I didn't think he had a 2 since he called the PF raise.

Hand 1: You're only ahead of 33/55/66/77/A4 and 33/55 are pretty unlikely. I think checking the river is the best play, though if you're going to value bet I like that amount.

Hand 2: When he raises your lead, you're beat almost all of the time and you should have folded.
