Some might argue to fold pf here. And the thing is, if it's A8s, it's probably suitable for a raise.

As played, you either need to call or fold. This push is just really excessive because you aren't even sure your A is an out. I think it looks like a fold.

I raise with A9s+, and AQo+ but usually dump everything else. AT/AJo in late position are ok. But really I see no value in hands like A8o

As for the flop play..Can not really comment without stats and/or reads on villain and what your image is...In general if the BB is a solid player he will give your PF raise from EP more credit thus is less likely to be playing back at you light..If villain is aggro and likes to C/R c-bets you may have enough FE to make this a +EV move..Now if this was a steal raise from button vs an aggro BB defender..I would think it would be +EV..It's all about position,image and reads on villain..Regardless it is very high variance...

In that case I am OK with the PF raise from CO..Still need more info on the players and image...

i like the spirit. most randoms aren't check/raising with the hands you'd like them to have here, though, and pretty much aren't folding. i'd feel a lot better if i had been bet into, then things like TT/JJ are in the mix a lot more often. sooo, i'd say this is a bit much. the good news is that i'd say you have real cash game potential.
