LC: Final table domination - knockout record?

So Mr. Yang knocked out 7 of the 8 final table opponents, which I assume must be a WSOP record. Does anyone know if this has been achieved before, or if the perfect 8 for 8 has ever occurred? If this is a new record, then prior to 2007, what were the most knockouts by a single player, and in what year did this occur?

If I still had some energy left, I'd try to google it myself, but right now I'm so tired after watching that final table that all I can think about is sleep.

might be a tie, but Jerry's feat, starting in 8th place, is a hell of a lot more impressive then Jamie's who already had the chip lock when the table started.
