with JT of hearts, I would not have made villains play; however, it worked great for him. Is his $5.60 flop push a reasonable play, or did he just get super-lucky?

you will see this a lot on pokerstars.

people are going all-in with flush-draws the whole time in these limits.
unfortunately pokerstars supports such a stupid play and i lose regularly with my sets/2pair etc against these guys.

That's an interesting comment. Are you suggesting that Poker Stars is in some way rigged to favor these plays?

And why is pushing with draws a bad play?

It isn't, but in this case it was. It depends on stack sizes, quality of your draw, action, etc. In this particular case, villain had a flush draw+2 possible live overs, but OP made it clear he likes the board and isn't folding. When villain pushes, OP gets a 3:1 call so there is no fold equity and a decent chance Hero holds more than an overpair (a set, pair+NFD, higher overs with flushdraw, etc), making the odds to draw worse.

Yea....poker stars is NOT rigged. If you are losing I understand how you want to blame it on this....but the truth is you just aren't very good at poker.
