When I have the right thoughts in my head from the get go of a session I am very often pleased with my play, when I hop into 4 tabling mindlessly I very often find myself asking "Why the F did I just do that? I'm soooo bad."

To get one's head in the game to play uNL, what is the best and most concise checklist to think about right before?

My submission:

1. Value
2. Fold
3. Their range
4. My image.

Also, F you if this post gives you the lame chills /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I have something similar to this on a stick-it-note on my monitor.

Imo its easiest to do this on every hand for a session playing just 2 tables. Then when you move back to 4 it will be more natural/instinct...

Right now my sticky on my monitor says: Be bluffed not stacked.

I tend to be a bit of a hero.

I tell myself to think and not autopilot. Like don't be a hudbot but put everything into context before I make my move and take all the clues into consideration. So much easier said then done...

Stickied on my monitor:

- "Forget about the money, concentrate on making the correct plays."

- "Monkeys will get lucky. Encourage it and don't let it affect you!"

- "Good players lay down the best hand often. They only have to catch the monkey once to make up for the other times that they were bluffed."
