Very first hand at the table. Obviously no reads except the table I sat at was listed as $5 average pot and %41 players see flop.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool (http://poker-tools.flopturnriver.com/Hand-Converter.php) from FlopTurnRiver.com (http://www.flopturnriver.com) (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($34.90)
CO ($4.65)
Button ($15.05)
SB ($20.50)
Hero ($20)
UTG ($22.75)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
3 folds, Button calls $0.25, SB completes, Hero raises to $1.25, Button folds, SB calls $1.

Flop: ($2.75) A/images/graemlins/club.gif, Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2, SB raises to $4, Hero calls $2.

Turn: ($10.75) 4/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $8, SB raises to $15.25, Hero...?

I bet $8 on the turn after he checked in case he had a flush draw. He bet into me on the flop after I raised preflop, but with no reads that could mean anything. After the check-raise on the turn, I'm probably toast, but I'm getting a little better than 5 to 1. He could have set, two pair, or just an Ace high or worse. Comments appreciated.

I guess there could be a case for checking the turn and calling a river bet or betting if he checks

I think most people bet out on the turn if they have 2 pair or better though, so I like your bet

It's really hard to say without a read. I'm not gonna say push turn, as that usually lead to trouble after getting raised on two streets. I think the only thing they raise twice with is a 2 pair, or a set. Many people call with small PP in hopes of stacking off against someone. I'd get out of the hand while i could, with no read of course, WIth a read is a different story

I think this is fine assuming you called (odds are too good). I also think that 3beting the flop would be worthy of discussion.

I don't think the odds are very good, I think here you are drawing dead or very near it. This would be a very aggressive play by villain if he was playing with anything less than AQ or a set/2 pair. I think the outs are very very minimal
