Strategy for a micro BR

Hi, i just got pwned on friday 13. I lost my BR, it was 450$ and now its 19$.

I would like to know whats the strategy if it exist to rebuilt my bankroll?

Start playin shortstack with 2$ in tables of NL5, and just call big hands?

Just take a shot at NL10 or 25, if you bust, re-deposit or win some freerolls on smaller sites that don't require you to beat 2000 people for 25 bucks.

To give an intelligent answer, I think you'll need to identify why you lost your entire BR in one day? If you're unable to do this, it'll probably just happen again.

I respect the fact that you don't want to deposit a lot of money onto pokersites, if the average player did this they would be richer and just finding 2+2 does not make you into a winner automatically.

I started my roll by taking pokerstars chips grinding the 1k up to 500k and selling it for $5 then playing 2NL 6max. On my 3rd or 4th try i never went busto and im up to $4,000

don;t go out and deposit on stars just yet...just play the $5NL tables...buying in for $3 and getting in with big hands + limping PPs and some suited connectors should be fine...or just buy in full...if you go broke, you can depsoit on stars and grind up.

Limp with small suited connectors like 56s or 32s is ok? or just the bigger ones like 9Ts?

wow id quit poker before doin this.

I don`t know party poker. I would either shortstack the small tables. or play small 6max sngs until you have 100$ or so.

I have never shortstacked, so I don't know exactly what would be profitable...the bottom line is that if you are shortstacking, raising any PP maybe not be as profitable as it is when you have a full stack...I would suspect the same is true of suited connectors..expecially since your c-bets may not be very effective at such a low buyin...

if you buyin for at least $3.. I would think that you may still be able to raise/c-bet mid to high suited connectors and all PPs...and basically get alling with 2 pair or better...or if you have a TPTK or on overpair, you will be fine getting allin as well...

if you buy in for less than $3..it gets tricky and I would think it may become better to overlimp with hands like suided connectors or PPs...it won't be hard to get your stack in when you flop a big hand since you don't have a full stack anyway...

I am the same, used to be a play money balla on FTP - played a 500k play money tournament where first place got $5 and seconed got $3. I got seconed. Then played a $2 90 man SNG, TID! then ground.

Now at $2.1k = )

I also went from selliing playmoney 2mil chips for 17$ in oct. last year to 5000$ and 100NL know. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I think $19 is plenty for regular NL5. No need to short stack. So you have maybe like 5% ror assuming you are not completely clueless. Shortstacking is insanely boring and not very profitable.
