Villain was 44/14/0.42 over 40 hands. Only history we have is when they c/c two pot size bets with a FD to my overpair and ended up hitting runner runner str8 but i checked behind river.

Any other way to play this? Anyone checking turn basically as I think thats the only questionable decision in the hand but feel free.

I wouldn't bet turn. I would take the free card. Why did you bet the turn?

Rest of the hand is pretty standard. River is a fold.

The only thing is that given villain's profile, you are unlikely to have a great deal of fold equity on the turn, and likely to be able to extract a lot of value when you hit. Which would lean me towards checking behind on the turn, but as everyone else says this seems quite standard overall.
